How you will make an impact:

As a Director on Iterable’s Business Insights team, you will play a key role in enabling a wide array of initiatives across the organization. You will lead a team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers to develop and execute data-driven strategies for a variety of departments (sales, marketing, finance, people, product, engineering, business development, etc.).

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Partner with executive leadership to drive strategy through data, helping Iterable make smart, informed decisions across all departments.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders around consistent KPIs, metrics, and business reporting to fuel strategic initiatives and operational execution.
  • Establish and refine business processes, data governance, and operational cadences to improve speed, agility, and accuracy.
  • Lead the development of the data warehouse and continuously evaluate effectiveness in meeting the organization’s business intelligence outcomes and adjust design, architecture, approach, etc. as necessary.
  • Take a leadership role in designing and producing analytics and business intelligence solutions such as reports, dashboards, and apps as needed.
  • Proactively surface competency gaps and/ needs across organization and teams and developing plans to address gaps/needs.
  • Develop processes, controls and monitoring to ensure documentation of data processes, controls, assets, etc.
  • Effectively communicate and demonstrate the strategic goals and tactical benefits of applied data.
  • Design and implement scalable tools and frameworks to monitor business health, identify opportunities, and drive efficiencies.
  • Drive long-term success of Iterable’s investments in the Business Insights team by developing programs to scale data literacy and insights adoption company-wide.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Proven leadership experience managing and scaling teams across multiple business functions.
  • Understanding of Business Insights tool infrastructure 
  • Deep understanding of technology company GTM, Product, and People data with a passion for making data useful, trustworthy, and actionable.
  • Sigma, Hightouch, and Snowflake, development experience
  • Ability to foresee the needs of department and company level data
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and anticipate business needs before they arise.
  • A growth mindset and the ability to lead through change with humility and clarity.

Bonus points:

  • Expert knowledge of SaaS company key metrics across departments; common uses and limitations.
  • Experience implementing Sigma, dbt and Snowflake.
  • Proven track record of building or scaling a BI function.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data pipelines, and process automation.
  • Background in analytics strategy and insights communication to senior leadership.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $177,500 - $240,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
