Denver International Airport is looking for a Senior Electrician (II) to join the Maintenance Administration team to support the maintenance of our Life Safety Department.

Location and Schedule

  • On-site at Denver International Airport (parking is provided)
  • Shifts: Mon-thurs, 5:30am-4pm
  • Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If staffing challenges occur, weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees will be required to work extended hours and/or alternative shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Participates in mandatory snow removal duties.
  • Shifts are not guaranteed and are subject to change.

Denver International Airport is seeking experienced Senior Electricians to join our team. We are looking for

individuals who have talent and experience in the electrical industry and exhibit pride of ownership.

Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:

  • 2 or more years experience in large-scale facility maintenance and Fire Alarm
  • Experience teaching or training entry-level electricians.
  • Experience with reading and following schematics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and excellent computer skills.
  • Availability for shift work, weekends, and holidays


Required Minimum Qualifications

We realize your time is valuable so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required minimum qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a licensed journey level-Electrician.
  • Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements
  • Licensure: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
  • By position, requires a Journey Electrician License or Masters Electrician License issued by the State of Colorado or state issued equivalent at the time of application. Licensure in another state with reciprocity may be accepted in lieu of this requirement, provided that the applicant has Colorado licensure at completion of probation. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
  • By position, must obtain a Denver Fire Department Fire Alarm Installers License within six months of probation.
