and billing accuracy. • Follow up on claim rejections, denials, and adjustments; correct and resubmit as necessary. • Coordinate with nursing home staff and billing departments to resolve discrepancies. • Maintain organized records of all billing activities and documentation. • Stay up-to-date with Medicare regulations and billing changes relevant to skilled nursing facilities.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience in data entry or billing within a healthcare setting, preferably long-term care or nursing homes. • Familiarity with Medicare billing, especially using UB-04 forms. • Experience with DDE systems and Inovalon software is required. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion. • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical billing is a plus.
