Full Job Description

Kenai Aviation is a reputable aviation company dedicated to providing top-quality aircraft services. We operate a diverse fleet consisting of a Cessna 206, three Tecnam Traveller P2012s, and a Beechcraft King Air B200. As we continue to grow, we are seeking skilled and dedicated Aviation Mechanics to join our team.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks and inspections on various aircraft models in our fleet.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionic issues to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations.
  • Adhere to company and regulatory procedures for maintenance, documentation, and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.

Required:

  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificates (A&P)
  • Has exercised their A&P for 6 months, within the last 24 months, or has a letter from the FAA waiving that requirement. 14 CFR 65.83
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in general aviation maintenance preferred
  • Inspector Authorization (IA) is a plus
  • Experience with 135 maintenance operations is advantageous
  • Familiarity with aircraft currently in our fleet (Cessna 206, Tecnam Traveller P2012, Beechcraft King Air B200) is desirable
