Title: AWS Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Frisco, TX (Hybrid)

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS, NGINX+ and NGINX App protect. (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE)

Key Competencies:
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
AWS Cloud Network/Security Administration:
- Design, Engineer and manage AWS Cloud solutions.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS Cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for cloud systems.
NGINX Administration: (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE)
- Design, Engineer and manage NGINX applications.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NGINX applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for NGINX systems.
Security Administration:
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide advanced technical support for AWS cloud networking issues.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and IT support staff.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS, NGINX+ and NGINX App protect. (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE)
Technical Skills:
- AWS-specific skills: VPC Subnetting and Routing, VPN, Route53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Lambda, VPC endpoints, ALBs, NLBs, GWLBs, CloudWatch, WAF, Shield Advanced, Global Accelerators, NFW, Private Link.
- Strong understanding of both NGINX+ and NGINX App Protect
- Strong understanding of DDoS Mitigation Techniques
- Strong understanding of the following network technologies: BGP, IPSec, SSL/TLS offloading, mTLS, NAT/PAT, Proxy, Reverse Proxy, IDS/IPS, L3/L4 Firewalls, iCAP.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of TCP/IP packets with ability to analyze captured packets for deep troubleshooting.
