Work Location: North Logan, Utah Required Qualifications: * Must be a U.S. citizen * Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance * Bachelors/Master''''s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent years of experience * Ability to obtain AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certificate upon hire Responsibilities & Duties: * Planning, designing, and integrating cloud-based infrastructure and services * Managing cloud environments in accordance with customer''''s security guidelines * Experience with VPC networking, EC2 instance deployment and autoscaling, EKS deployment and administration * Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle * Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required * Employing proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems * System Administration - AWS Inspector, NESSUS, ACAS, SCAP, DISA STIGs, Group Policy * Help in the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based networks Recommended Skills and Experience: * Proficiency with the following Cloud technologies or their equivalents: VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EKS, Lambda, RDS * Proficiency deploying cloud-based architectures with CloudFormation, Boto, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager * Experience migrating on premises infrastructure to cloud-based services * Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, VPN infrastructure, load balancing, application firewalls, and distributed networks * Knowledge of Performance Monitoring * AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification preferred; AWS Solutions Architect professional certification preferred. Equivalent Azure certifications accepted.
