Roles & Responsibilities of Export Manager: A Pharmaceutical Export Manager plays a vital role in getting a company's life-saving drugs and treatments to international markets. Their duties can be broadly categorized into three main areas: 1. Market Research & Sales Growth: Identify and research potential export markets based on factors like healthcare needs, regulations, and competitor presence. Develop market entry strategies, considering pricing, distribution channels, and marketing tactics. Negotiate contracts with international distributors and healthcare providers. Set and achieve export sales targets, monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement. Negotiating with Shipping lines for better rates. 3. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Stay updated on international regulations governing pharmaceutical exports. Ensure all exported products meet the quality and safety standards of the importing countries. Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary licenses and approvals. Manage any product recalls or quality issues that may arise in the export market. Manage & Procure Documents/Certificate like COO, HC etc Additional Skills & Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and international trade practices. Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance procedures. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in international business practices and cultural sensitivities. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload.
