Description AWS is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Sr. Account Manager to drive strategic engagements, adoption, and growth of AWS services specifically within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This role requires a deep understanding of CMS's unique missions, challenges, and regulatory environment, enabling the delivery of innovative cloud solutions tailored to the agency's specific needs. The Sr. Account Manager will cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key CMS stakeholders and partners, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. This position will leverage AWS's extensive suite of products and services to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency within CMS, with a focus on supporting critical healthcare initiatives, data analytics, and modernization efforts. The Sr. Account Manager will collaborate with cross-functional AWS teams to align solutions with CMS's strategic objectives and stringent compliance requirements. Successful candidates will harness the full potential of the AWS cloud computing platform to drive targeted technology solutions that support CMS's diverse missions, from Medicare and Medicaid administration to healthcare quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include engaging with key CMS decision-makers and strategic partners, participating in relevant healthcare IT events, and leading processes to develop industry-specific solutions that create significant new business opportunities for AWS within CMS. You will work closely with AWS Solutions Architects, service teams, and senior engineers to develop and promote cloud-based solutions tailored to CMS's unique needs. Candidates must possess excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to interact effectively with CMS stakeholders at all levels, from executives to clinicians to developers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to think strategically about CMS's business, technical, and regulatory challenges, build compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. Key job responsibilities - Serve as a key member of the AWS FedHealth team, focusing on CMS-specific market and service enablement strategies. - Define and execute a strategic market development plan aligned with AWS's direction and CMS's priorities. - Identify and engage key CMS stakeholders and partners, including relevant ISVs and system integrators. - Support healthy pipeline creation by engaging with key prospects within CMS.

Basic Qualifications - 8+ years of supporting Federal Health initiatives - 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience - 5+ years of relevant technical skills with the ability to dive deep on relevant technologies key to the industry. - Experience working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Preferred Qualifications - 15+ years of relevant work experience. - CxO relationships and large network in the industry. - The right person will be analytical and data-driven, and demonstrate balanced strategy and planning, and execution skills. - Experience with advanced cloud technologies (data lakes, AI/ML, HPC, IoT) - Experience with Health Information Exchange technology (HL7 FHIR) Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
