Responsibilities:
- Develop control system architectures for ride attractions, ride vehicles, and motion systems.
- Design and analyze electrical supply systems, data communication systems, and facility interfaces.
- Research new products, technologies, and methodologies to improve control system design.
- Lead a team of engineers in developing and implementing ride control systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design, engineering, installation, and commissioning of control systems for electromechanical systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in fail-safe and safety-related controls design, including functional safety concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of control processors, components, and communication networks used in multi-processing real-time industrial applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Rockwell and/or Siemens automation systems architecture and components.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $169,800.00 per year, based on a 40 hour work week, which may vary depending on business needs. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
