Remote Clinical Pharmacy Technician

Full Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing member medication counseling and assistance to minimize gaps in treatment by collaborating with various teams across Healthfirst and with our community partners of pharmacists and providers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Work experience requiring written and verbal communication that is clear, concise, grammatically correct, and professional
  • Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication and medication related issues
  • Either nationally certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing (i.e., PTCB, NHA) or registered or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual skills
  • Medication Therapy Management Certificate

 

Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities: Partner with community pharmacies to communicate member medication adherence

 

License/Certification: Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing (i.e., PTCB, NHA) or registered or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing

 


Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $47,403 - $62,400

  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $41,101 - $60,320

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
