Responsibilities
- Perform routine transportation operations or maintenance support work such as roadway maintenance and repair.
- Operate light and heavy equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Conduct preventive and minor maintenance on equipment.
- Assist with traffic control and public safety during emergencies.
- Inspect and maintain highways, rights-of-way, and related structures.
- Provide support to local law enforcement at accident sites.
- Perform basic welding and installation of traffic control devices.
- Complete required reports including timekeeping and equipment forms.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license at the time of application.
