Claims Adjuster - Attorney Represented Injury ID-2051
This position is available in Riverside, Irvine, San Diego, Pasadena, Torrance, Thousand Oaks, Sherman Oaks, Fresno, Modesto, Sacramento, and Concord, CA.
As a claims adjuster specialist , you'll play a critical role managing attorney represented bodily injury (BI) claims. An ideal candidate will have experience managing an inventory independently, experience assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages, as well as working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. Duties & responsibilities
- Determines coverage and liability
- Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
- Settle claims and set reserves
- Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
- Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
- Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police
Must-have qualifications
- Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
- {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handli ng
Preferred skills
- Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
Compensation
- You'll be paid based on your location and level of experience:
- $32.28 - $42.10/hour for Riverside, Irvine, San Diego, Modesto and Sacramento area
- $35.26 - $45.94/hour for Pasadena, Torrance, Sherman Oaks, Thousand Oaks, and Concord area
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance
