We are looking for an analytical and results-oriented Localization Expert to help shape the future of Digi-Flex Operations.
The successful candidate for this role will be a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, the importance of Localization in the AI subtitles process, metrics and number savvy, has an analytical mindset and has demonstrated leadership ability that includes drive for process excellence. This person will need an ability to see the big picture/whole system and execute on a grassroots level to improve the quality of the processes.

IMPORTANT: This is not a remote position; you are required to work on-site. Open to Costa Rica applicants expected to work from the SJO19 site in Heredia.
Key Job Responsibilities
The day-to-day job requires the individual to make judgment-based decisions by following a standard operating procedure. This will involve tasks such as:
- Localizing SDH/Subtitles and metadata synopsis
- Quality check subtitles/metadata assets for translation accuracy (idiomatic, spelling, grammar, punctuation)
- Lead quality audits to benchmark localized content, perform corrections and analyze areas of improvement.
- Create or fix subtitles, metadata and ensure high-quality localization of content
- Provide inputs to update Prime Video's style guides to continue to raise the bar on customer experience.
- Support 'end to end' program execution and support several projects simultaneously.
- Delegate tasks to team members to achieve the best possible output, document issues faced in running day-to-day operations, and recommend improvements to tools and processes based on experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of analytics & statistical tools such as SAS, PowerBI, SQL & ETL DW concepts
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Datazen, SSRS
- Experience in back office operations, escalation management, and troubleshooting environments
- Knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)
