Job Summary:
CVS Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our remote Pharmacy and Health Services team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support in prescription management, including reviewing, processing, and filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely process.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding medications, insurance, and other pharmacy-related services.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to manage patient care and ensure medication therapy management.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and CVS Health policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Support operational goals and meet performance metrics while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or higher preferred.
- State certification/licensing for Pharmacy Technicians, if applicable.
- Experience in a pharmacy setting, customer service, or healthcare-related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medication names, and drug interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy management software.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare-related role is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a remote environment or in customer service is a plus.
- Experience with prescription management systems and medication dispensing is desirable.
