Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical transcription or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical transcription or scribing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with transcription software and EHR systems; strong typing skills with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in transcribing and editing medical records.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist or medical scribe.
