This position is located at Miami Lakes.

The position is for 3rd shift 11:30pm - 8:00am

Depending on business needs may be required to work on Saturdays/ Sundays

The Process Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient and effective production processes. This role involves a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and trouble shooting .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Monitor production processes to identify and troubleshoot issues (e.g., equipment malfunctions, material defects, quality deviations).
  • Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Participate in process validation and qualification activities.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure product conformance to specifications.
  • Investigate and document quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all process activities.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in safety training and hazard assessments.
  • Teamwork and Communication:
  • Collaborate effectively with production operators, engineers, and other team members.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide clear and concise reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
