INVENTORY CONTROL ASSISTANT I ID-1048
Essential Job Functions
- Answers questions that require searching for and abstracting technical data.
- Provides detailed explanations of regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Reviews non-routine applications, calculates and collects variable fees and other amounts dues.
- Refers unusual inquiries to his immediate supervisor.
- Reviews documents for accuracy, validity, and compliance with legal and/or other requirements where the application of highly specialized knowledge and the resolution of debatable points are required.
- Reviews, records, and maintains time records for employees in a given organizational segment of a county department.
- Reviews the work of others for accuracy and conformity to established procedures.
- Prepares correspondence and reports requiring the application of highly specialized knowledge and discrimination in the selection of data, or interpretation of laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Operates office machines such as computers or terminals, copiers, scanners, or calculator’s incidental to the performance of duties.
- Sorts, arranges, and files documents.
- Retrieves and issues filed materials.
- Lead a small section or unit with responsibility for assigning and coordinating work performed as assigned.
